Arcadian Health Plan Selects Dynamic
Healthcare Systems to Meet Medicare Challenges
IRVINE, Calif. – January 9, 2006 - Dynamic Healthcare Systems, a provider of innovative solutions for Medicare-focused health plans, today announced that Arcadian Health Plan, Inc., a provider of Medicare Advantage health plans, purchased two major components of Dynamic’s Voyager(tm) Medicare Suite.
Part of Dynamic’s powerful Voyager software suite, the two modules—RAPS Management and HCC Analytics—will provide Arcadian with a critical advantage toward meeting current challenges in managing explosive Medicare populations, helping the company maximize revenues and profitability by streamlining the critical risk adjustment phase of the reimbursement process.

The RAPS Management module should fulfill that role amply by helping Arcadian automate the way they accept, manage and exchange RAPS encounter data in conjunction with The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or CMS. The HCC Analytics solution analyses and enriches that information by applying complex algorithms to identify suspected missing or mis-coded diagnostic ICD9 codes and using secondary data like prescriptions, lab results and authorizations.
