Systems Irvine, Calif. – March 13, 2007 - Dynamic Healthcare Systems, a provider of innovative solutions for Medicare-focused health plans and Stand-alone prescription drug plans (PDP), today announced that it signed an agreement with SCAN Health Plan to provide professional services and hosted software. Under the agreement, Dynamic will provide SCAN its Voyager Software Suite, giving one of California’s largest senior-focused health plans Medicare Advantage management capabilities to help them with complete Part A/B and D revenue reconciliation and Part D event (PDE) administration. “Under the current healthcare regulatory environment, a rapidly growing health plan like SCAN requires robust systems offered by Dynamic to allow us to provide the highest level of service and optimal benefits to our members,” said Dennis Eder, SCAN’s Chief Financial Officer. “Dynamic’s technology and services will help our company automate and optimize our efficiency as a business, while ensuring compliance with guidelines issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) while we focus on enhancing delivery of services to our members.” The Dynamic Healthcare Systems’ Voyager Software Suite provides a comprehensive Revenue Reconciliation and PDE Management Toolkit. Through its Revenue Reconciliation Module, Dynamic will help SCAN manage Part A/B and D payments by tracking and resolving discrepancies by contract, including specific bid rate reconciliation. Dynamic’s PDE toolkit gives SCAN a complete data system that allows it to integrate, analyze and act on real-time information to help control costs related to PDE submissions.
