Physician WebLink Selects Dynamic Healthcare
Systems to
Provide Professional Services and Hosted Software
IRVINE, Calif. – March 22, 2006 - Dynamic Healthcare Systems, a provider of innovative solutions for Medicare-focused health MSO’s and plans, today announced it has signed an agreement with Physician WebLink (PWL) to provide professional services and hosted software. Under the agreement, PWL will utilize Dynamic’s software and services to support its respective Risk Adjustment Programs with its major client, Monarch HealthCare. Dynamic will deliver monitoring and analytics reports based on data provided by PWL.
Under current models, health plans serving sicker populations are not fairly compensated. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) created a new revenue model based on the health status of Medicare members known as risk adjustment. Risk adjustment determines the severity of certain conditions and compensates plans at a higher rate for sicker members.
