Selects Dynamic Healthcare Systems’ HCC Analytics Irvine, Calif. – July 17, 2007 - Dynamic Healthcare Systems, a provider of innovative technology solutions for Medicare-focused health plans, today announced that OSF Health Plans, Inc., a managed care company with 100,000 members, purchased its HCC Analytics solution. Designed to improve the accuracy of HCC information for Medicare Advantage Plans, Dynamic’s HCC Analytics allows OSF to manage its risk adjustment scores and improve the accuracy of risk adjusted submissions by capturing mis-coded ICD-9 codes. “After reviewing several technology solutions to enable us to adequately review and analyze our current RAF scores, we selected Dynamic’s suite of solutions because they offered the right combination – a complete HCC management system that helps us accurately establish our members profiles and the expertise in this field,” said Tara Flippin, OSF’s Director of Medicare Operations. “The ability to capture mis-coded ICD-9 codes, correct prior submissions and record future submissions with the appropriate codes is critical to assuring accurate HCC information,” Flippin added. Dynamic’s HCC Analytics module applies proprietary algorithms to qualified encounter data and unqualified secondary sources like, lab results, DME, and prescription encounters, to uncover suspected gaps in ICD-9 code reporting.
