Premium Billing Solution

Medicare Advantage Health Plans are required to calculate, bill and collect applicable premiums and Late Enrollment Penalties directly from the beneficiary. This is a complex function given the amount of retroactive changes to member enrollment and Low income subsidy status. Core claim systems are not designed to manage premiums using the CMS compliance requirements and manually performing this function is not possible given the complexity of the requirements.

The Voyager Premium Billing Module is designed to calculate beneficiary Plan premiums and Late Enrollment Penalty dues, and manage the remittance and delinquency processes.
